Good Dog

Loved this picture we have the best animals in the Golden zoo.

Gardner Village

Last week my mom, ash and I took the kids to Gardner Village to see the witches. It was freezing cold but we still had a lot of fun. I had a guilty mom moment on our way in we saw the horse and wagon and I told Tanner we would go on it after we looked at all the witches. I know he wanted to go on it so bad but it was so cold, so I told him the horse had to go to sleep in his barn. On our way out to the car he spotted the horse (not in the barn and with a wagon full of freezing people). At that moment I realized the days of stories of nice warm barns and other pleasant reasons why we have to do things are at an end he is defiantly in the ballgame these days.

Halloween Extravaganza

Yes every holiday at my parents house is turning into an extravaganza. This was the first year for the Halloween extravaganza which included hot stew, pumpkin carving contest, and trick-o-treating for the little kids. The night started out with the pumpkin carving contest as you can see we take it very serious, but even my dads magic glasses couldn't win him the prize. Glen and I took 1st and 2nd and Eric took 3rd. We had a delicous dinner and then the kids got to go trick-0-treating and my mom gave them pumpkins filled with toys. It was a great night thanks mom and dad for being so festive.

Cornbellys

Our church got together at Cornbellys last week so Glens mom and I took Tanner. I had never been before, they had so many fun things to do and we all had a great time.

Cuzzi Time!!!

Well yes the hot tub has now landed in the backyard, and not only does Glen love it so does Tanner. Every night when Glen gets home from work Tanner runs to him yelling "cuzzi daddy cuzzi". They each put on their Hugh Hefs (robe and slippers) and head off down to the hot tub.

My Funny Little Boy

In the last month or so Tanner has started talking so much more. The more he talks the more I find myself laughing out loud at the funny things he says and does. Some of his favorite lines are...
"Oh my goodness"
"Oh bees" He says this when something is broken or if he spills or drops something.
"Oh man" He learned this from grandpa Couvillon.
"GO TIGERS" That's LSU tigers, and he learned this from grandpa Couvillon also.

He is so much like his daddy its unbelievable. Glen and I are amazed at his little personality, and man does he have a personality hes our little clown.

The other day I let the girls (our dogs) out to potty in their dog run. Tanner loves to let them out and then tell them "go on girls go tee tee". Well I was surprised when he followed the dogs took off diaper and went tee tee in the dog run with the girls.

Yesterday he came running in my room with his little basketball and he was saying "mom hangnail" I thought it was just another moment we had to get out the clippers and go over each nail very carefully and make sure everything was just so. I was surprised when he held up his ball and i saw a small I mean small piece of plastic sticking up around one of the seams. As I tried not to laugh at how serious the situation was, I followed him as he made a mad dash to the drawer and pulled out finger clippers a file and went to work. This major project kept my very active two year old busy for the next half hour and man did i get a lot done. Who would have thought a basketball hangnail does the trick. :)
