Tanner cleans up at the Lehi Roundup

4:50 pm in the Jeep, both Tanner and I are sweating we are racing to Wines Park for the miniature float parade. I had three bags filled with sunscreen, cameras, cowboy boots and yes a gun holster. The seats were down to fit the "float" (red wagon) and it was covered with a large blanket so Tanner wouldn't pull it apart the second he saw the gold tinsel that covered the wheels. We arrived just in time to slip Tanner into chaps and boots and line up for the judging. Nothing like a little Americana, the oversize woman walked by like judging the miniature float parade for Lehi City was her calling in life. "You little cowboy get first place" she said and pined the blue ribbon on his vest. I was so excited I picked him up and jumped up and down he had no idea what was going on all he kept saying was "poop poop" because there was a large pile of "poop" a parade horse had left on the lawn. I never would have thought that I would get so much joy out of my one year old getting first place in the miniature float parade, I guess its just one of those mom things.

Prayers for Grandma and Grandpa Couvillon

Grandpa Couvillon has been in the hospital for pneumonia but he is doing better. Please pray for Grandma who has not been feeling very well herself and also for Grandpa. We love you very much and hope for a speedy recovery.

Bear Bear

Bear Bear came for a visit for a few days on her way back to California. Tanner always is so happy when she comes. I think its the 24 hour attention and that's how the Golden men like it. Thank you so much for making the trip we look forward to seeing you in July. We love you!

Art City Days

Yes its that time of year again parades, carnivals, fireworks what more could you ask for. We had so much fun this year with Tanner he was the perfect age for all the festivities. He loved riding all the rides with his older cousin Easton and the marching bands in the parade was more then he could handle (its the Grandpa Jones in him). We loved seeing everyone and thanks to Chirsty and Brandon for hosting the BBQ this year.

Balloon Festival

Tanner was so happy when we were on the road to a new adventure at 6:00 am. He had no idea what we had in store for him. He was pleased as punch when grandma and grandpa jumped in the car off we went. Tanner loved all the "Big Balloons" as he said over and over. Grandpa put him on his shoulders and off they went to investigate. It was just one of those perfect mornings and the balloons looked so pretty against the mountains.

St. George Sun

My mom, Ash and I took a long needed trip down to the St. George house. We had to take two cars because of all the baby stuff Ash needed to take for Julia, not to mention we were planning on doing some serious shopping. We had so much fun playing in the pool, Julia loved it she is my little tadpole and Tanner, well as you can see loved his independence sitting all by himself without his over protecting mom clinging to him in the pool. He would have sat there all day and yes there was a small meltdown when we had to leave but hey he know what he likes.

Our Beautiful Deck!

Our neighbor Aaron has been working so hard on our deck. We are so excited for it to be completely finished as you can see we don't have railing yet and the slide is not attached but when it is done everyone is invited to come over for a BBQ.
