St. George Sun

My mom, Ash and I took a long needed trip down to the St. George house. We had to take two cars because of all the baby stuff Ash needed to take for Julia, not to mention we were planning on doing some serious shopping. We had so much fun playing in the pool, Julia loved it she is my little tadpole and Tanner, well as you can see loved his independence sitting all by himself without his over protecting mom clinging to him in the pool. He would have sat there all day and yes there was a small meltdown when we had to leave but hey he know what he likes.

Yes this is are new grill it blew off the deck!

Our Beautiful Deck!

Our neighbor Aaron has been working so hard on our deck. We are so excited for it to be completely finished as you can see we don't have railing yet and the slide is not attached but when it is done everyone is invited to come over for a BBQ.

Discovery Garden

One day Tanner need to get out and run so we had a little mommy son time at the Discovery Garden at Thanksgiving Point. He loved all the little animals however, he was very nervous about the bear den with the life size grizzly bear in it. It was so fun to get out just Tanner and I and soak up some of the nice sunshine we have been having. I love all the time I am able to spend with him and I'm so grateful for my wonderful husband for all his hard work so I can enjoy these moments.

Discovery Museum

Discovery Museum at the Gateway is such a great place Tanner is at the perfect age. They have so many cute things for little kids like this life size horse that Tanner loved, he made his famous horse noise the whole time he was on it.

Catch Up

Ok Ok I'm so sorry I have not updated for so long but I have been totally into the twilight books and any free moment i have i indulged in my guilty pleasure. Everyone is amazed that I have not already read them but I have a crazy little boy who is lets just say is active. So here are fun things we have been doing.

Tanner had so much fun at the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. He loved to smell all the beautiful flowers and the big waterfalls were the highlight of the day.

Salt Lake Marathon

About five months ago I told Glen I wanted to run a marathon so we started training together. Needless to say life got busy and we didn't make the time to train like we needed to. Anyone who knows Glen knows he is a man of his word, if he says he is going to do something he does it. I was not surprised when we jumped in the car on Friday to race down to the Salt Palace to register for the 1/2 marathon. He made the dead line with only 20 min left. Again anyone who knows Glen also knows he does not plan anything!!! So now its the day of the race it is about 6:15 am the race starts at 7:00 and we are still at our house. Glen had no idea where it started, when it started or where it go. We all jump in the car race down to Salt Lake which was shut down because of the race and Glen starts working his salesman talent. He had police officers moving road blocks and we managed to get about 20 yards from the starting line. Glen gave me a kiss jumped out of the car and said keep your phone on you. I looked at him like he was crazy and away he went. About 2 hours later my phone rang he was on mile 11 and doing well. Tanner and I made our way down to the finish line at Gateway and Glen finished just over 2 hours. Life is so much fun and a little crazy with Glen, I'm so proud of him and I love him very much.

Easter 2008

It is so funny what a difference a year makes last year Tanner sat so good by his little Easter basket for a picture and well as you can see this year things have changed. He had so much fun finding all the eggs that the Easter bunny left in the yard.

Ba Ba ( Glens Mom ) called us Friday and told us she was on her way to Utah. It was such a nice surprise and Tanner kept her very very busy. She gets a little uneasy when he flies down the stairs 100 mph or when he climbs on his rocking horse saddle to reach many things he should not reach. He had so much fun and they played and played for hours at a time it was a very nice Easter and we were sad to see her go.

Tanner Goes to the Farm

Wheeler Farm is the greatest place!!! From the moment we pulled into the parking lot Tanner was in total amazement. He got to see all the animals up close and personal. He loved the chickens and the very large horse but, the hayride was the highlight. He was the perfect age for a visit to the farm, we had a great afternoon.

My Gym

Grandma Anderson gave Tanner a pass to My Gym for Valentines Day and boy does he love it!! We go every week and Tanner gets to run and jump and get all of his wiggles out. His fav is the ball pit and the slide and he is crazy about his teachers Miss Brittany and Miss Heather. Thanks again Grandma we love you.
